Diesel Technician

Overview

Diesel Technician role at Love's Travel Stops. Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Work in various temperatures and be able to move and lift 75+ pounds
• Always prioritize safety and customer satisfaction, complying with company safety policies and procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that may include day and night shifts
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

• Ability to perform required physical tasks (lifting 75+ pounds, working in close quarters)
• Willingness to work a rotating day/night schedule
• Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s)
