Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis. Duties involve teaching developmental and/or college-level courses, including distance-learning opportunities during the day, evening, weekdays and weekends. Faculty members maintain currency in their disciplines and trends in community college education.

• Teach assigned courses in Culinary Arts.
• Develop and deliver course materials, assessments and feedback.
• Utilize technology for online and hybrid delivery as needed.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development.
• Assist with institutional goals such as workforce development.

• Associate degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management or related field.
• Two years industry experience and Serv Safe certification.
• History of successful teaching or related experience.
• Two years teaching experience, management experience in the industry, and experience with online teaching.
• Operation of a state vehicle allowed; no supervisory or travel requirements.
