Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis. Duties involve teaching developmental and/or college-level courses, including distance-learning opportunities during the day, evening, weekdays and weekends. Faculty members maintain currency in their disciplines and trends in community college education.
- Teach assigned courses in Culinary Arts.
- Develop and deliver course materials, assessments and feedback.
- Utilize technology for online and hybrid delivery as needed.
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development.
- Assist with institutional goals such as workforce development.
- Associate degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management or related field.
- Two years industry experience and Serv Safe certification.
- History of successful teaching or related experience.
- Two years teaching experience, management experience in the industry, and experience with online teaching.
- Operation of a state vehicle allowed; no supervisory or travel requirements.
