• Location: Albemarle, NC 28001 (North Carolina travel nursing jobs)
• Unit: Medical/Surgical & Telemetry (35 beds, average census 22)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (8/25/2025 – 11/22/2025)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• Holiday Coverage: 75% of holidays required
• Scrub Color: Navy

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570–$1680 per week

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state)
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong clinical skills in post-op care, orthopedic nursing, TPN/PPN, stroke care, chest tube management, PIV starts, trach care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, NGT placement, drain/tube management, PCA pumps, wound care, and medication gtt management (including cardiac drips, heparin, blood products, IVF)
• Experience with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Phillips monitors preferred
• Willingness to float within the region (Med/Tele, ICU, PCU, ED, and other healthcare facilities as needed)
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to patient-centered care

• Provide high-quality nursing care to diverse Med/Surg and Telemetry patients, including those with stroke, CHF, COPD, respiratory illnesses, diabetes, post-surgical needs, and behavioral health concerns
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and document accurately in EPIC EMR
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor cardiac rhythms in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Float to other units and healthcare facilities within the region as required, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism
• Contribute to a supportive team culture focused on patient safety, clinical excellence, and positive outcomes
