Hematologist​/Oncologist

This large hospital system is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Albert Lea, Minnesota. The clinician will provide comprehensive outpatient care, manage a patient load of 14-16 adults per day, and participate in a rotating 1:3 call schedule. This 1-year engagement spans Monday through Friday and requires documentation through the Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care
• Conduct patient evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Manage hematologic and oncologic conditions in an outpatient setting
• Participate in call coverage following a rotating 1:3 schedule
• Maintain documentation through the Epic EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities

Qualifications

• Board certification required
• Hospital privileges are required for this position
• Prescriptive authority required
