2 nd Shift Team Lead will be responsible for the various jobs associated with the production on the south end of the building.
What You’ll DoAs our 2 nd Shift Team Lead - South
, you’ll:
- Know and follow HACCP and SQF programs.
- Know and follow all Food Safety procedures.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Follow all Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
- Know and follow all Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
- Safety conscious
- Wear all required personal protective equipment. For more information see policy.
- Cover Supervisor responsibilities when they have time off or absent.
- Assist and train in production activities to help ensure it is running smoothly, and quality is being met.
- Help with the training in sanitation and chemicals.
- Watch for and enforce safety procedures around the plant.
- Support and bring ideas to help create and support management decisions.
- Promote a positive work environment, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Responsible for compliance with production standards and product yields and communication of results to team members.
- Know the proper way to assemble all equipment in area, be available to help at any time.
- Properly inspect all machines before Pre-op
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak, read and understand English.

You’ll join a collaborative and growth-minded team. You’ll report to the Production Manager and directly supervise all personnel involved in the production of Mrs. Gerry’s products and equipment on the South end of the building.
