Job DescriptionPosition Purpose: The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store/multiple stores. They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture.
Responsibilities include preparing detailed case reports, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court. They must report hazards, demonstrate integrity, respond to asset protection concerns, and support store business objectives while minimizing injury risks.
