Ulland Brothers, Inc. is a Civil/Highway-Heavy, aggregate, paving and site development contractor with over 100 years of experience. We now have an immediate opening for a Paving Equipment Operator in our asphalt crew. This position offers competitive pay and union benefits.
Responsibilities- Operate and repair various types of paving equipment including asphalt paver, loader, roller, and distributor.
- Perform additional assignments as requested, including ongoing in person or online training.
- Minimum 2 years related experience in operating paving equipment.
- Good ability and knowledge in the operation and maintenance of listed equipment.
- Required to perform repair and maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing, and oiling machines.
- Operating equipment in a safe manner, following instructions and meeting set standards.
- Performing work in all types of environments, conditions, weather, and seasons.
- Using appropriate personal safety equipment supplied by the company.
- Medium duty work requiring lifting, climbing, sitting, crouching, stooping, bending, full use of hand, arms, and legs, and eye-hand coordination.
- Reaching and feeling, overhead lifting, and repetitive motions required.
- Talking and hearing; good eyesight (naturally or with correction); color discrimination essential to satisfactory performance.
- Regular and timely attendance essential; hours must conform to the company’s operating hours.
- Drug test required.
