A finance department at a local institution is searching for an Accountant I - Payroll in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The candidate will perform essential accounting functions, including ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent, along with two or more years of relevant experience is required. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of accounting principles and proficient skills in Microsoft Office.

The work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional requirements on weekends.
