• Examines, analyzes, interprets, and reconciles financial accounts, transactions, records, and other financial information; verifies general ledger balances and determines necessary adjustments or corrections.
• Reviews and analyzes financial reports and statements to identify discrepancies, abnormal trends, reporting deficiencies, and internal control weaknesses and develops corrective solutions.
• Conducts financial management studies and analyzes financial processes, systems, policies, and procedures to recommend improvements to accounting operations, controls, and financial reporting.
• Manages and analyzes cash flow to minimize financial risk and ensure funding is available to support organizational operations, programs, and services.
• Forecasts cash needs and develops strategies to optimize the use and control of cash and improve the management of organizational financial resources.

This position requires successful completion of a federal background investigation as a condition of employment.
