Requirements
Position Summary
The Service Sales & Estimating Consultant is a front-line business development and sales role responsible for securing multi-year, recurring commercial service contracts. This role is designed for a proven B2B salesperson who excels at relationship-based selling, pipeline management, and closing, with estimating skills developed through training and collaboration with operations.
The primary focus is on janitorial, facility services, and construction cleanup contracts, with approximately 80% of effort dedicated to recurring services and 20% to one-time work. This role includes conducting walkthroughs, preparing accurate estimates using LifeROOTS’ standardized estimating tools, collaborating with Project Managers to confirm feasibility, and ensuring all proposed work meets a minimum gross profit margin.

What You’ll Do
- Identify, pursue, and close multi-year commercial service agreements
- Conduct professional site walkthroughs and assess scope and square footage
- Prepare accurate estimates using LifeROOTS’ standardized tools (training provided)
- Collaborate with Project Managers to confirm feasibility, staffing, and margins
- Present proposals and negotiate within approved pricing parameters
- Maintain CRM activity and pipeline reporting in Hub Spot
- Transition signed contracts smoothly to the Contract Specialist
Focus: ~80% recurring services | ~20% one‑time work
What We’re Looking For- 2+ years of B2B sales with demonstrated closing success
- Experience in janitorial, facility services, floor care, or construction cleanup
- Comfortable in the field—walkthroughs, measurements, real conversations
- High integrity, disciplined follow‑through, and margin accountability
- Motivated by building a book of business
