Position SummaryThe UNM Art Department is seeking applicants for a Studio Project Assistant Position who will work with Professor Jeanette Hart-Mann. We are accepting applications for this position from all students regardless of work study award; however, students with a work study award will be given preference.
The Studio Project Assistant will work flexible hours up to 10 hours weekly. Tasks will include assisting professor in creative research including using digital equipment and computer software to prepare work, organizing and modifying materials for projects, post-production editing, and working on digital archives and websites.
Minimum QualificationsEnrolled in a degree-seeking program at UNM, enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
Preferred Qualifications- Graduate Student in the MFA Program
- Skill in use of personal computers, Adobe Suite, photographic equipment and flatbed scanners
- Skill at organizing archives and websites
