The Dentist (Endodontist) serves as a practicing dentist who performs a full range of professional dental procedures in within the scope of endodontics specialty for the Albuquerque VA - Raymond G. Murphy Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center - - New Mexico Health Care System within VISN 22 Desert Pacific Healthcare Network.

• Duties include but are not limited to:
  Make oral and radiographic examinations of the oral cavity Diagnose pathological or irregular oral conditions
• Administer local anesthesia
• Perform routine and complex endodontic procedures
• Perform simple and complex endodontic surgical procedures
• Perform root‑end fillings
• Perform temporary restorations of teeth
• Place posts and core on teeth - as indicated
• Other associated dental procedures consistent with the scope performed by Endodontist in the community
• Be able to review CT scan pertinent to endodontic assessment as indicated

• Pay:
  Competitive salary - annual performance bonus - regular salary increases
• Paid Time Off: 50‑55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave - 13 days of sick leave - 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
• Retirement:
  Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA

• Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
