Albuquerque is truly a one-of-a-kind city. Mountains to the east (including the longest aerial tram in the Americas), volcanoes to the west, and balloons in the sky. Albuquerque offers all of the amenities of a major metropolitan area, but nature is never too far away. You are never far from hiking/biking trails, rafting, skiing, fishing, or hunting.
No worries if you are not an outdoors man because NM maintains a vibrant history pre-dating the U.S.A. Visit the Palace of the Governors in Santa Fe, dating back to 1610. Or take a stroll through Taos Pueblo, which has been inhabited for over 1,000 years, or visit the other 19 indigenous pueblos in the State. For a bit of modern history, visit the Trinity Site, where the first Atomic Bomb was detonated.
Come see why New Mexico is called “The Land of Enchantment”.
