The University of New Mexico, School of Medicine and Health Sciences Center is seeking an incumbent that will contribute actively to the climate of diversity & inclusivity.

We invite applications for an open rank, opentrack full-time faculty position in Obstetrics and Gynecology. UNM's Academic Generalist Division has a busy clinical practice, and is active in research and education. The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center is the largest academic health complex in the state. HSC combines its four mission areas – education, research, patient care and community outreach – to provide New Mexicans with the highest level of healthcare.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • M.D. or D.O. degree or equivalent
  • Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in NM, State of New Mexico Board of Pharmacy certification, and federal DEA registration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching students and residents
  • Clinical skills and scholarly activity
  • Experience working within a managed care environment
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Experience or interest in research activity and career development
  • A demonstrated commitment to cultivating an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities
