Serves as a general GI staff physician in Gastroenterology.

• Deliver clinical care to patients in the PMG GI practice in all venues including clinic, inpatient and lab
• Participate in night call in rotation with the general GI practice
• Supervise the care delivered by APCs in the PMG GI practice
• Support mechanisms to gather and report quality measures
• Receive and resolve patient, staff and provider complaints
• Participate in quality improvement plans
• Work with the leadership team including DPO, MSO, clinic manager and lab manager on the practice’s financial, clinical, and service quality performance
• Participate in the recruitment and retention of physicians and staff who work in the practice
• Takes corrective action when arranged with accountability and authority
• Perform other functions as required

Education:

M.D./D.O. in clinical practice.

Current New Mexico License required.

Board certified in Gastroenterology.
