The Department of Neurology at The University of New Mexico (UNM), Health Sciences Center has full‑time, open rank/open track positions for board‑certified/eligible neurologists, specifically in vascular neurology, neurocritical care, neuromuscular, cognitive neurology, multiple sclerosis/neuroimmunology, and neurodevelopmental disabilities.
UNM Hospital is the tertiary care center of the State and has the only primary Advanced Stroke Center, dedicated neuroscience critical care unit, Comprehensive Movement Disorder Center, NAEC Level 4 Epilepsy Center, and ALS/MDA Center in the State. The UNM Department of Neurology has 40 attending physicians and is home to well‑established residency programs and multiple fellowship programs.
Minimum Qualifications- MD or DO; board‑certified/eligible in a neurology subspecialty.
- Must be eligible for licensure in the State of New Mexico and eligible to work in the United States.
- Strong clinical skills and training in a neurology subspecialty.
