Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified PRN Pediatric Neurologist to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our team of two Child Neurologists is seeking a physician to join our thriving pediatric multispecialty clinic. We welcome an experienced BC practitioner or a new BC/BE graduate.

Dedicated to family‑centered Care, the Children's Center at Presbyterian encompasses both inpatient and outpatient services for specialty pediatric care. Our dedicated pediatric intensive care, pediatric inpatient unit, NICU and multispecialty clinic are all co‑located at our flagship campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversees and is accountable for the overall quality of care and clinical outcomes of pediatric neurology patients. This care will be delivered by interdisciplinary team members to assure high quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Manages the physician/patient relationship, working to assure patient and family satisfaction with care.
  • Participate in system‑wide health management initiatives.
  • Provide input into the practice site’s financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
  • Receive and resolve patient complaints.
  • Participate in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
  • Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost‑effective treatment of pediatric hematology oncology patients.
  • Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in‑services, and workshops.
  • Works to assure patient satisfaction with care.
  • Participates in team and multispecialty group meetings.
  • Provides input into the practice site’s financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
  • Oversees and is accountable for the overall quality of care and clinical outcomes within the assigned facilities.
  • Maintain coding and encounter data standards for completeness, accuracy, timeliness and reimbursement level, including legible documentation.
  • Assists in leading the Advanced Practice Clinicians in delivering appropriate patient education/care
  • Performs other functions as required.
