Position Summary

The Anderson School of Management’s Department of Marketing, Information, and Decision Sciences at the University of New Mexico anticipates hiring Adjunct Faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Spring 2026, and/or Summer 2026 semesters.

Departmental needs may be best served by temporary part-time faculty whose specialties include Marketing, Operations Management, Management of Information Systems, and other management courses within undergraduate and graduate programs.

The Anderson School of Management is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International and offers BBA and MBA degrees in twelve concentrations, along with a Master of Accounting (MACCT), an Executive MBA for working professionals, an MBA in Education Leadership, a Master of Science in Cyber Security and Business Analytics, and a Master of Science in Project Management.

Positions are contingent upon need each semester as determined by student enrollment, course offerings, and demand driven by graduation requirements. Positions may be filled or eliminated each semester up to the deadline for students to drop or add courses. Candidates selected for these positions will report to the Department Chairperson.

Wages

Adjunct Faculty at Anderson School of Management are compensated based on credentials and credit hour course loads. The typical pay rate for new Adjunct Faculty ranges between $4,919.91 - $6,979.91 per 3-credit hour course.

  • March 30, 2026 for the Summer 2026 semester
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in a field related to the area of the teaching assignment

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience/expertise in related field evidenced in cover letter and resume
    • Evidence of teaching experience in resume
    • MBA or Ph.D. in relevant field
    • A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the diverse cultures of New Mexico and to the university's mission to serve local and global communities
