Student Success Specialist, Senior
The Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico is looking for an outstanding communicator with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to join our growing team as Senior Student Success Specialist for Graduate Programs
.
Reporting directly to the Manager of Student Success, this position will provide assistance to attract, retain, and serve our unique student population. The expectation will be that 75% of time will be devoted to EMBA activities with the remaining 25% allocated to other advisement activities for other graduate programs.

The successful candidate will support Anderson’s goals to serve and increase our EMBA student population and will have a proven track record of producing high‑quality results, successfully maintaining progress across multiple projects and deadlines, working efficiently with minimal supervision, and adapting to changing priorities. Because of Anderson’s unique student populations, our Senior Student Success Specialist must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends and must be able to attend recruitment and other student‑oriented events on and off campus.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications- Master’s degree in student affairs, educational administration, higher education, counseling, student development, business, or closely related field
- Prior experience developing and implementing effective educational, student support, and/or professional development programs and services in an academic setting
- Experience delivering presentations and establishing collaborative professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining effective reporting/tracking mechanisms for a variety of projects and stakeholders, including the use of social media, technology, and specialized software
- Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials and superior proofreading and editing skills
