An Off-Campus Work-Study Position

We are seeking tutors for before-and after-school programs and summer programs. Ideal candidates have a wide range of interests, experiences and linguistic, cultural and educational backgrounds. If you have a love for learning, want to serve as a positive role model for children, encourage parent and community involvement, and work effectively as part of a team, this job is for you!

Tutors will work with K-5 students.

• Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.

• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Motivated, with a love for leaning and working with children
• Able to have fun and engage students positively
• Mus have a work-study award for the  school year
