LOCATION: APS Internship Sites (Varied depending on career pathway)
WEEKLY HOURS - .5 COURSE CREDIT: No more than 10 hours per week, no more than 6 hours per day. Includes completing a self-reflection project and presenting it during the last week of the internship. Currently limited to 1-2 semesters.
HOURLY PAY: $15/hr stipend (No taxes withheld)
WHEN WORK HAPPENS: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, unless instructed otherwise by your SEL Teacher/Advisor/Mentor.

POSITION SUMMARY: Students will explore and apply workplace readiness skills such as communication, leadership, team building, technical skills, and ethical responsibilities.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Enrolled in High School or GED
- Enrolled in Gifted Mentorship (ACE) Class

- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Organized, positive attitude, curiosity, willingness to learn
- Attention to work rules and deadlines
TRAINING AND EXPOSURE: Internship provides career readiness training tailored to each student's potential career pathway.
