We are looking for highly qualified candidates for an upcoming contract positioned onsite at the Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) SSHINE contract.
Manufacturing And Test Technicians Qualified candidates are experienced Technicians, preferably with experience working on classified programs.
Roles And Responsibilities Support fabrication, assembly, and installation of apparatus and control instrumentation used to test experimental or prototype mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, hydromechanical, or structural spacecraft, instruments, ground systems, or subsystems, and tests and records results, utilizing engineering principles and test technology.
Key responsibilities include:
- Participate in conversations with engineering personnel to resolve fabrication problems relating to specifications and to review test plans.
- Fabricate precision parts for test apparatus, using metalworking machines such as lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment.
- Examine parts for conformance with dimensional specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
- Coordinate and participate in installing unit or system to be tested in test fixtures.
- Activate controls to apply electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical power and subject test item to successive steps in test cycle.
Education Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with AA degree or 5+ years of experience with BS/BA degree.
Clearance Requirements
- TS with ability to obtain SCI.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
