We have a direct hire opening for a Manufacturing Engineer in Albuquerque with a global manufacturer that produces ceramic components used in sensors, actuators, RF devices, and other electronic assemblies for the aerospace, medical, industrial, and transportation industries.
- They machine ceramic materials on CNC equipment to produce precision parts for the ceramic piezo and RF product lines.
- This role will work in the CNC machining department to develop, improve, and troubleshoot the machining processes used to shape and finish ceramic materials.
Direct Hire Opportunity – Be on our client’s payroll from Day 1
Pay and Schedule Information:
- Salary Range: $80k–$100k annually
- Schedule:
Monday–Friday; 7 am–4 pm or 8 am–5 pm
Job Duties of the Manufacturing Engineer:
- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot ceramic machining processes to improve yields, quality, and throughput
- Apply DOE, DMAIC, Six Sigma, Lean, and statistical analysis tools to resolve production issues
- Develop and optimize machining parameters, tooling, fixtures, and work holding for ceramic materials
- Support installation, upgrades, and recommendations for new equipment
- Implement quality control methods and inspection protocols to ensure parts meet dimensional and performance requirements
- Work with the New Product Introduction team to move new ceramic components into production
- Provide technical support to technicians, operators, and engineering staff
- Create reports, documentation, and process updates for engineering and manufacturing management
- Interface with suppliers and customers during process development or issue resolution

Job Requirements of the Manufacturing Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- CNC machining experience and strong understanding of machining principles
- Knowledge of ceramic materials and their machining characteristics (preferred)
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement methods
- Ability to lead troubleshooting and drive process improvement initiatives
- SAP experience is a plus
