** AV has an immediate opening for a Subcontract Program Manager to support programs within Space Technologies Business Unit.

** Responsibilities:
*** Lead effort to develop and maintain a consistent business rhythm with key subcontractors, ensuring that cost, schedule, and technical objectives are met.
* Oversee the end-to-end subcontracting process, including RFP activities, negotiations, awards, and performance management.
* Ensure subcontractor performance aligns with program specifications, including cost, schedule, quality.
* Manage and release deliverables, including Statements of Work (SOWs) and Subcontract Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs).
* Lead programmatic and technical meetings with subcontractors and internal engineering teams, fostering clear communication and accountability.
* Identify, forecast, and resolve issues impacting subcontractor performance, ensuring continuous progress and delivery.
* Report project status and performance metrics to program leadership team and customers.

* Basic Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience project or program management, and/or supply chain management such as procurement, subcontract administration, subcontract management and/or negotiation.
* Experience supporting or managing programs, and/or suppliers in aerospace industry.
* Ability to lead and direct the activities and resources within and across the organization.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to listen, assimilate, evaluate, and summarize. Sound ability to communicate with the customer at all levels.
* Knowledge of the Project Lifecycle from requirements definition, proposal preparation and negotiation and project implementation through to completion.

Qualifications:

*** Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
* 5+ years experience in program management or supply chain within aerospace, defense, or other complex hardware system industries.
* Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
