Solutions Architect - Media/Broadcast Enterprise Systems

Reporting to the Director of File Based Solutions, you will work across Evertz clients, account managers, R&D engineers, project managers, and executive management to fully architect, design, and document the requirements and implementation approach for Evertz end‑to‑end enterprise solutions for broadcast and media facilities. The successful candidate must be able to capture client vision, business and technical requirements, and map those into Evertz hardware, software and professional services offerings.

You must be comfortable in both a client‑facing role and an internal role with R&D and delivery service groups.

• Work collaboratively with the account manager to define and document scope.
• Provide initial solutions to clients with Evertz equipment selection & systems design; refine design through the process to deliver final quotation and supporting documentation.
• Work with internal resources and the client to demonstrate and document proof‑of‑concept systems.
• Collaborate with internal, client, and third‑party teams to understand current and future business and technical requirements.
• Take lead on proposal creation, refinement, and produce accurate documentation for bid sets.
• Identify and manage project risks, state assumptions, and mitigate risks with client and internal resources prior to deployment.
• Create a clear, well‑thought‑out design package including gap analysis, functional specifications, and budget.
• Identify new customers, build relationships, and maintain existing customer base.
• Serve as the technical authority throughout design, pre‑commissioning, onsite commissioning, training, and sustaining engineering phases.
• Travel as required to client sites.

• Experience designing, documenting, and sustaining full lifecycle, end‑to‑end enterprise‑wide, client‑facing projects.
• Experience with file‑based broadcast, production, post‑production, non‑linear distribution, automated transcoding and quality control, and business/traffic system deployments.
• Electronics engineering (or similar) education.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Results‑oriented, self‑motivated, and a team player.
• Familiarity with BXF and industry‑standard traffic solutions.
• 3+ years of experience deploying file‑based workflow solutions.
• Experience with broadcast IT and network infrastructure.
• Understanding of application integration with business systems via XML.
• Knowledge of current digital video compression standards and file types.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
