is seeking a highly skilled and hands‑on Controller to lead and enhance our accounting operations in the dynamic Department of Defense (DoD) aerospace contracting environment. You will play a critical role in maintaining compliance, supporting audits, and improving our financial systems, all while contributing to a team that is solving some of the nation’s toughest technical challenges.

This posting is for work in the Albuquerque, NM, area.

The ideal candidate will have led the formulation of audit responses, including for the Defense Contract Audit Agency, supported other external financial audits, and a proven track record of resolving findings with enduring solutions. The Controller will have experience in enterprise‑level accounting functions, developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, internal controls, and ensuring compliance with DoD financial regulations and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Success in this demanding role will stem from:

• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in various aspects of financial management, with at least 3 years in the DoD contracting/aerospace sector (auditor experience a plus)
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal government accounting and contracting policies
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
