SummaryBuild your career and make a difference. Presbyterian is hiring a Diet Aide II. Oversee the patient tray delivery system, including meals, floor stock, nourishment, and monitoring physician diet orders with food items prepared.

Responsibilities- Support the organization’s vision, values, and strategies.
- Serve as the department’s customer relations personnel.
- Participate as an active team member for the department.
- Adhere to policies and procedures established by various hospital, departmental, environmental, state, and JCAHO regulations.
- Serve as the department’s quality assurance personnel in regard to food monitoring.
- Act as an information liaison between patient and dietitians.
- Record patient preference for meal preparation.
- Instruct production as to the specific item and quantity of each food item to prepare.
Minimum one year food service experience or customer service; one to three years experience in a healthcare food service environment preferred. One to two years college‑level courses in nutrition can substitute for healthcare food service experience.
