Home Care Assistance of Albuquerque is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals interested in starting a rewarding career as an In-Home Caregiver Trainee
. No prior caregiving experience is required. Our Caregiver Development Program (CDP) provides paid, hands‑on training to prepare you for success in the field.

Next Training Class: January 19, 2025 – January 23, 2025

Location: Albuquerque and surrounding communities

• Must be available to work within the hours of 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week

As a Caregiver Trainee, you will attend a full week of hands‑on, instructor‑led training with an experienced and supportive trainer. Training includes:

• HIPAA compliance
• Duties and expectations of a caregiver
• Cooking and meal preparation
• Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation (ANE) awareness
• Advance directives
• Skills lab and hands‑on practice
• Fall prevention techniques
• Shadowing an experienced caregiver
• And much more

• $15–$16/hour with a 6‑month review and pay increase
• $175 bonuses every payday

• Personal care (bathing, hygiene, grooming, toileting)

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Reliable vehicle with valid insurance and registration
• Strong communication skills
• Authorization to work in the U.S.Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Physical ability to assist with transfers up to 150 lbs. using assistive devices
