EMT-Intermediate / Advanced EMT (Albuquerque Ambulance Service)

Base pay range: $16.63/hr – $27.41/hr sign‑on bonus: $2,500–$5,000, depending on level of experience.

• 13‑hour shifts (3 per day) or 10‑hour shifts (4 per day) in Days, Nights, or Swing shifts.

• Deliver high-volume pre‑hospital 911 emergency response and inter‑facility transportation.
• Provide pre‑hospital emergency care and perform in‑scope ILS interventions such as oxygen administration, CPR, defibrillation, splinting, bleeding control, and wound dressing.
• Document and maintain accurate medical records through Image Trend Elite charting software.
• Operate emergency vehicles safely, consistent with EVOC guidelines.
• Attend departmental staff meetings and in‑service educational programs.
• Proactively utilize best practices to minimize response and drop times.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current New Mexico driver’s license with no relevant restrictions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a driving record insurable under Presbyterian policy.
• State of New Mexico EMT‑Intermediate/AEMT license.
• Valid BLS, DOT, FEMA 100, 200, 700 courses and any other required certifications.
• Ability to perform CPR and all skills associated with EMT‑Intermediate licensure.
• 1–2 years of EMT experience preferred.

• $2.00/hr Ambulance Service Differential; $5.00/hr Night Differential; $3.00/hr Weekend Differential; $1.00/hr ILS‑C Differential.
