- NICU and PICU experience required - Must self-rate 4 on High Frequency Jet Ventilator (HFJV) and High Frequency Oscillator (HFOV) - Recent experience within the last two years required

Description:

This position involves working in a NICU setting. The average daily census includes 6-10 ventilators. Mandatory attendance during holiday bundles is required. Travelers are expected to work weekends as needed, with a maximum of 3 weekends in a row. Floating to adult respiratory therapy unit may be necessary based on facility needs. Required skills include endotracheal tube placement, extubation, nasal airway placement, and sputum specimen collection.

Experience with high-frequency oscillation and high-frequency jet ventilation is essential. A preference for candidates who have worked in Level I trauma centers is noted. Candidates need to demonstrate proficiency in various respiratory therapy techniques relevant to neonatal and pediatric care.
