Mental Health Therapist (Contract)– Albuquerque, NM
Golden Horizon Counseling Group is growing!
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing culturally responsive, client-centered care and helping individuals and families improve their mental health and overall well-being.
We offer flexible scheduling, no cost supervision, Telehealth options, and competitive pay.
What You’ll Do- Provide individual and/or family counseling
- Complete assessments and individualized treatment plans
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic services
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and the Golden Horizon team
- Serve Spanish-speaking and English-speaking clients
- Current or eligible New Mexico behavioral health license, such as LMHC, LPCC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to ethical, compassionate, culturally responsive care
Golden Horizon Counseling Group is a growing Albuquerque behavioral health practice focused on creating an environment where both clients and clinicians feel supported and valued . We provide outpatient mental health services to diverse populations throughout our community.
We are especially interested in a therapist who wants to grow with our practice and help expand access to mental health services for Albuquerque’s Spanish-speaking community.
Location: Main office Albuquerque, NM with Telehealth options available.
Schedule: Flexible schedule with days, nights, and weekend hours available.
Language: Spanish & English
