Specific Duties and Expectations
Responsible for cleaning/preparing efficient operations of rooms, front/back of house, public areas, and laundry. Assume duties of Executive Housekeeper in their absence, including daily management of staff. Clean guest rooms and public spaces on days not covering Executive Housekeeper duties.
Other Duties and Expectations- Manage Guest Request Log:
Review and proactively address requests. - VIP Management:
Monitor all VIPs, special guests, and requests. - Oversee Housekeeping Team:
Conduct daily stand-ups. - Room Inspection:
Inspect rooms and public spaces for quality and cleanliness. - Storage Rooms:
Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage, mechanical, housekeeping closets, main laundry room. - Pre-Cleaning Duties:
Stock guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen for cart set-up. - Trash and Linen Removal and Replacement:
Remove trash, replace bed linens, replenish supplies. - Deep Cleaning:
Conduct deep cleaning activities as needed in conjunction with maintenance. - Departmental Meetings:
Conduct daily meetings with staff when absent Executive Housekeeper. - Supply Management:
Maintain required stock and order monthly/quarterly. - Inventory:
Conduct monthly and quarterly inventories. - Maintenance Requests:
Monitor work orders, submit to Engineering, follow up. - Status Reports:
Balance and clear room status nightly, resolve discrepancies. - Lost and Found:
Maintain and monitor Lost and Found procedures. - Chemical Safety:
Monitor proper use and compliance with hazardous chemicals per OSHA. - Key Control:
Maintain key control system for the department.

- Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.

Provide notice as directed by supervisor.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Stand or remain in a stationary position for long periods of time (3-4 hours at a time).
- Type on and operate computers and other office machinery or devices; do 10-key operation and data entry; dial a telephone; manually manipulate objects, handles, tools, and/or controls.
- Bend, stoop, crouch, lift and transport supplies of up to 25 pounds throughout the hotel.
- Inspect and visually observe details at close range (within a few feet) and from long range.
