You’ll lead with integrity, empathy, and strategic insight, ensuring our HR practices reflect and advance Bosque’s mission, values, and long-term vision.

- You are passionate about cultivating a healthy workplace culture where people feel supported, valued, and able to thrive.
- You’re a strategic thinker and a detail-oriented doer—just as confident drafting policy as you are coaching a colleague or managing a complex hiring process.
- You bring deep HR expertise, a people-first mindset, and a strong commitment to equity and inclusion.
- You value relationships, communication, and trust, and are dedicated to developing and sustaining a healthy organizational culture.

- Work in partnership with the Head of School, the Business Office, and other administrators to assess and implement staffing and compensation plans aligned with enrollment and budgetary considerations.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding sensitive personnel and institutional matters.
- Lead the full recruitment cycle for faculty, staff, contractors, and seasonal roles, including job postings, screening, interview coordination, reference and background checking, and candidate communications.
- Develop, evaluate, and refine recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified, mission-aligned candidates, in alignment with strategic priorities.
- Draft and manage job announcements, job descriptions, offer letters, contracts, and related documentation.
- Oversee comprehensive onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientations, HRIS access, COBRA oversight, and exit interviews.
- Coordinate employee transitions, working with managers to address coverage, back filling, and hiring needs.
- Serve as an accessible, neutral point of contact for employee and manager inquiries related to policies, benefits, and workplace standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture rooted in trust, collaboration, and shared values.
- Provide support in resolving employee concerns and conflict resolution; consult with supervisors to document and manage performance issues and disciplinary actions.
- Administer and document the annual performance review process, in collaboration with managers.
- Lead or assist with investigations into employee grievances to ensure legal and ethical compliance.
- Collaborate with leadership colleagues to support a value-driven workplace culture and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist in developing and implementing employee wellness and training initiatives.
- Partner with faculty, staff, and leadership to support the implementation and advancement of Bosque’s ECC Principles & Best Practices.
- Manage the school’s benefits program, including annual open enrollment, communications, and liaison work with brokers and carriers.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and escalate complex issues as appropriate.
- Coordinate and maintain benefits-related documentation, ensuring compliance with labor laws and organizational policy.
