(CPLC) is a non‑profit organization and one of the largest Hispanic Community Development Corporations in the United States. You will serve as a business partner to assigned programs and leaders, providing employee relations expertise, policy interpretation, culture program execution, and workforce insights that support organizational effectiveness. You will manage employee relations matters, conduct workplace investigations, facilitate corrective actions, support termination decisions, and execute employee engagement and recognition initiatives. You will partner closely with leaders to strengthen workplace culture, mitigate employee relations risk, improve employee experience, and drive informed decision-making through reporting and analysis.

• Education/Background:
  Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, Psychology, or similar field preferred.
• 3 years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
• High School Diploma or GED certificate required.
• 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
• SHRM-CP, PHR certification required or able to obtain certification within 1 year from starting position
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish preferred
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing meeting company policy and proof of insurance.
• Other Requirements Experience and commitment to working with multiethnic, multicultural, low-income populations
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, especially Microsoft teams)
• Excellent documentation skills
• Proven ability to follow up and meet deadlines
• Excellent initiative, flexibility, and stress‑management in handling sensitive matters
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and delegate to balance many responsibilities
