Associate Director, Identity Access Management (IAM)

KPMG US is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Identity Access Management (IAM) to lead our Global Technology & Group as part of the KPMG International team. This role drives the secure delivery of authentication services across cloud and on‑premise solutions.

• Lead and motivate a global team of internal and vendor‑provided identity and access management professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Manage the delivery of critical authentication services, including Single Sign‑On (SSO) and Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA), primarily leveraging Entra  Okta to secure cloud and on‑premise solutions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction by communicating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, negotiating and aligning on service delivery, enhancements, and strategic goals.
• Oversee the performance of the managed services agreement with the team's trusted vendor, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and value is delivered.
• Contribute to the IAM service roadmap and strategy, identifying opportunities for service improvement and aligning with evolving technology needs.
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.

• Minimum ten years of recent experience, including at least five years in a qualified IAM or related security role.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience of five years and a total of ten years as a professional.
• Experience delivering a high standard of customer service, guiding both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Passion for leading and developing people with exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to keep a team focused on achieving operational excellence and long‑term goals.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment‑based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP does not sponsor U.S. work visa status for this opportunity.
