Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM)
We are seeking an experienced ISSM to join our Albuquerque, NM security team. The ISSM will oversee and manage the classified information security program, develop and implement information security policies, standards, and procedures. Responsibilities include supporting full life cycle IS activities, preparing accreditation/certification packages, maintaining and monitoring operational systems, system upgrades and decommissioning, and managing ATO certifications.
Attitude and skills:
The ISSM should have experience developing RMF accreditation packages, managing ATO certifications, performing security assessments and hardening, and utilizing security tools. Strong written and oral communication skills are required. Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, knowledge of eMASS, and a Security+ certification or the ability to obtain it are needed.
Basic Qualifications
- SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance
- Minimum of five to seven years of related experience
- Previous experience as an ISSO/ISSM
- DoD Directive 8570.1 IAM Level II or higher certification
- Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117, DAAG, NIST RMF, DoDM 5205.07, and/or JSIG IS requirements
- Experience investigating security incidents (data spills, integrity incidents, malicious code incidents)
- Experience with compliance certifications of various operating systems
- Experience with Windows, Server, Linux/Unix-based systems
Education
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree or higher

- 5-7 years of relevant work experience

Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 (Dependent on experience)
