Position SummaryThe University of New Mexico Information Technologies seeks a Technical Analyst 2 dedicated to UNM Athletics operations support as part the Institutional Support Services (ISS) IT team.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing Microsoft and Apple endpoints in a complex enterprise that supports a range of services and using sophisticated directory-based management tools such as SCCM/Intune, JAMF, with collaboration tools such as Teams/Zoom.
This position will provide initial/primary contact support for the ticketing application, Paciolan, utilized by Athletics and will coordinate vendor escalations with the ticketing area of Athletics.
Successful candidate may be subject to a criminal background check prior to starting work.
- Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of progressively responsible experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Higher education coursework and/or experience that are directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
- Specialty licensure/certification may be required, as specified by the department.

Preferred Qualifications- Experience utilizing Microsoft's Active Directory to support a range of directory enabled services including: mobile device management (MDM), SCCM/InTune/JAMF with endpoint configuration management and foundational resources such as file/printer sharing, SharePoint and Teams collaboration, system updates and customization, security compliance, pass-through authentication and authorization and other specialized integrations as appropriate.
- Demonstrated skill documenting technical solutions and providing remote and in person support to non-technical customers. Experience mentoring and training customers to ensure partner-level engagement for continuous process improvement.
- Experience documenting service delivery process, procedure and that aligns with UNM and area policy as it pertains to the centralized/service owner best practice for core services, security, and cross training.
- Experience managing a structured computer inventory process as an essential feature of an equipment renewal and replacement plan.
- Ability to provide first level support for users on access to the ticketing system client supporting online purchases of event tickets and manage escalations to the vendor for troubleshooting and resolution.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with critical point-of-sale systems and devices used during athletic and special events.
