Join our team as a System Administrator VI at Chenega MIOS SBU in Albuquerque, NM. We support large-scale government operations through innovative technology solutions, including Linux, Windows, VMware, and enterprise services such as DNS, DHCP, AD, and IIS.
Responsibilities include:
- System administration for Linux and Windows OS and VMware environments.
- Monitoring and supporting enterprise services and infrastructure.
- Implementing security controls, system upgrades, and data management strategies.
- Supporting backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
- Utilizing tools like Microsoft Operations Management, VMware vSphere, and others for system monitoring.
Minimum qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or technical certification.
- 5+ years supporting IT environments at the server/data center level.
- Experience as an SME on IT projects and a background check clearance.
Skills and abilities:
- Support for Microsoft and Linux OS.
- Knowledge of enterprise management tools and project documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects.
