The System Administrator IV will manage system administration for Linux and Windows OS and VMware environments. Responsibilities include monitoring and supporting enterprise services such as DNS, DHCP, AD, and IIS.

• Set up file storage with ACL proper permissions.
• Manage security and administrative controls of systems.
• Support IT operations across multiple computers and network devices onsite and remotely.
• Monitor server applications for availability, latency, and queuing; stay updated on vendor upgrades and patches.
• Perform systems management, monitoring, and upgrades for Microsoft and Linux systems.
• Utilize data storage and replication technologies for backups, continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Monitor logs using tools like Microsoft Operational Management, VMware vSphere, Qwest Auditor, and NetIQ.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Associate’s degree or technical certificate.
• 4+ years supporting IT environments at the server/data center level, including backup, recovery, patching, support tiers, performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization.
• Experience as SME in IT projects.
• Background check clearance.

• Support Microsoft and Linux OS.
• Willingness to travel.
• Knowledge of enterprise Microsoft products.
• Develop project management documentation.
• Work independently and lead projects.
