Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Windows, Linux, VMs, and supporting software in an air‑gapped environment.
- Work with peers to support Windows and Linux environments.
- Set up and maintain Windows Server environments to include AD and Group Policy.
- Harden systems against vulnerabilities and threats using automated tools in accordance with DISA STIGs.
- Pro‑actively recommend and implement performance and reliability improvements to systems and independently develop solutions to problems.
- Train junior systems administrators in best practices and day‑to‑day operations.
- Assist in the documentation of knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures, and work instructions as needed.
- Experience with Windows Server.
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Exposure to basic Dev Ops and software development workflows.
- Familiarity with enterprise management of IT systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Active IAT level II Certification
- 3+ years of Systems Administrator experience
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university. - Proficient with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
