Day to Day

As a Senior Learning Architect, you will design and build the learning experiences and systems that enable Indeed employees to develop critical capabilities  will translate the enterprise learning strategy into actionable solutions, architecting pathways, frameworks, and scalable learning products that link personal growth to business outcomes.

You will operate as both strategist and builder—partnering across L&D, HR, and business teams to ensure our learning ecosystem is coherent, accessible, and measurable. Your work will directly shape how thousands of employees build skills, advance their careers, and drive Indeed's mission forward.

Responsibilities
Learning System Design
  • Design knowledge models, learning pathways, and curriculum architectures that align to business priorities and career progression.
  • Establish content standards, design patterns, and governance frameworks that ensure quality and consistency across the learning ecosystem.
  • Map learning experiences across employee lifecycle stages, ensuring seamless progression from onboarding through advanced development.
Solution Architecture & Delivery
  • Translate business needs and capability gaps into scalable learning solutions, including blended programs, digital experiences, and technology-enabled interventions.
  • Design how learning content, platforms, and experiences integrate to create coherent, user-centered journeys.
  • Partner with instructional designers and learning developers to ensure architectural vision is executed effectively.
Measurement & Optimization
  • Define success metrics and data collection strategies for learning programs and pathways.
  • Review learning data to identify opportunities for optimization and demonstrate the business impact.
  • Create dashboards and reporting mechanisms that make learning effectiveness visible to recommendation makers.
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Partner with business leaders to interpret capability needs and co-create development solutions.
  • Work closely with Learning Innovation & Enablement to implement enterprise technology strategies.
  • Partner with HR partners in Talent Management and Organizational Development to ensure aligned approaches to capability building.
Inclusive Design Leadership
  • Apply accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices to all learning architecture work.
  • Advocate for equitable access to development opportunities across employee populations.
Skills/Competencies
  • Systems thinking with the ability to design learning architectures that scale across diverse populations and business contexts.
  • Extensive experience leveraging learning technologies to enhance user experience and business results, while architecting skills frameworks, learning pathways, and curriculum structures for complex organizations.
  • Solid foundation in adult learning practices, skills modeling, and curriculum design.
  • Experience with modern learning technologies (LMS, LXP, authoring tools, analytics platforms).
  • Skilled in translating business strategy into learning strategy and actionable design.
  • Proficiency with learning analytics and ability to use data to drive recommendations and demonstrate impact.
  • Advanced experience in learning and development, with demonstrated progression in designing enterprise learning systems or large-scale programs.
  • Proven experience in architecting skills frameworks, learning pathways, or curriculum structures in complex organizations.
  • Track record of partnering with business leaders to translate capability needs into scalable learning solutions.
