Nelson Mullins law firm is looking for a tax associate to join its Affordable Housing and Tax Credit Team
. As an Am Law
100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of an expanding team who shows up for their clients. This opportunity is open to multiple large markets.

Our office occupies two floors of the 390 North building located in the heart of downtown Orlando with a view of Lake Eola. You will be joining a hard-working team that represents for-profit and nonprofit developers in the development, acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, operation and sale of affordable multifamily housing for families and seniors throughout the US utilizing a wide range of federal, state and local affordable housing programs.

You have meaningful experience in partnership tax and ideally in federal income tax credits
. Your undergraduate degree is in Accounting and you hold an LLM in Taxation (preferred). With your background in accounting, you possess excellent academic credentials and strong writing, analytical, and communications skills. You are detail-oriented, have excellent follow through and are a member (in Good Standing) of any state bar.

• The salary/wage range is $200,000 - $370,000 annually. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
