SummaryMorgan & Morgan is looking for an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its growing practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role involves handling a heavy and complex case load of cases and hearings, building out a new statewide workers’ compensation practice, and managing a robust influx of cases.
Responsibilities- Day‑to‑day handling of cases and hearings
- Drafting and filing litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and memoranda
- Guiding clients through the case process
- Coordinating with expert witnesses for conferences, drafting of expert reports, and affidavits
- Attending and preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the NM State Bar Association
- Minimum 3+ years of workers’ compensation experience
- Ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
