The Bench Custodial Director will provide management support to new and existing SSC accounts in higher education settings. Travel is required and can be significant, including overnights. Candidates must be open to relocating outside of the Albuquerque area.

• Facilitate seamless communication between shifts to ensure task completion.
• Train workers in janitorial methods, procedures, and proper equipment operation.
• Issue supplies and equipment to workers, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Conduct daily inspections and follow through on assignments to guarantee task completion.
• Cross‑train and develop personnel for multiple positions to promote versatility.
• Conduct weekly staff reports and inspections, fostering accountability.
• Meet with staff regularly to review task completion and plan future projects.
• Secure buildings after work, demonstrating security diligence.
• Guide project completion to ensure timely and within‑budget outcomes.
• Report and address budgetary issues effectively.

• A college degree is preferred.
• One to two years of supervisory experience in housekeeping or a service‑related field with high customer/client interaction.
• Strong work ethic, drive, and initiative for quality and customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Outstanding problem‑solving abilities in individual and group settings.
• Ability to engage and motivate staff for a positive work environment.
• Understanding of budgeting processes and awareness of profit and loss concepts.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills with prioritization focus.
• Exceptional time‑management skills ensuring operational efficiency.
• Ability to operate and manage heavy cleaning equipment effectively.
