Branch Manager

Thermo King West, Chesapeake & Central Carolinas are now Force TK. The company has about 300 employees across its 13 locations, and has been very successful in diversifying its equipment portfolio and service offerings. Today, Force TK and its subsidiaries are market leaders in Thermo King transport refrigeration, Versalift aerial buckets, TICO terminal tractors, Club Car commercial vehicles, Knapheide truck bodies, trailer repair, and consumer golf carts.

The Branch Manager is responsible for leading all branch operations, including employee development, customer satisfaction, safety, financial performance, and operational efficiency. This role oversees day-to-day activities, drives revenue growth, ensures compliance with company policies and safety standards, and fosters a productive, team-oriented work environment. This position is eligible for a monthly bonus plan. Details on the roles/responsibilities can be found below:

Roles/Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop branch employees to achieve productivity, profitability, customer service, and operational performance goals.

Establish departmental objectives, monitor performance metrics, and ensure quality, productivity, and profitability standards are achieved.

Oversee daily branch operations, including personnel management, workflow, attendance, payroll-related activities, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Drive aftermarket customer quoting processes to support customer retention, revenue growth, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, manufacturers, dealers, and internal departments to support branch performance and business growth.

Identify opportunities to attract new customers, retain existing customers, and improve overall branch performance.

Manage branch financial performance, including revenue-generating activities, expense control, reporting, ERP utilization, and collaboration with Accounts Receivable.

Ensure employees receive required training, maintain applicable certifications, and comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company requirements.

Maintain oversight of branch parts inventory and operational resources to support efficient service delivery.

Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum of five (5) years of management, operations, service, or related leadership experience.

Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.

Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Experience managing personnel, budgets, resources, and operational performance.

Knowledge of service operations, inventory management, and workflow processes.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management systemsERP/e-Emphasys experience preferred.

Ability to analyze financial and operational reports and use data to drive business decisions.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
