Position: Material Handler I - 2nd Shift

The Material Handler will assist with picking, packing, pulling, and staging materials for our customers. They help safely load trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks, support the outbound Logistics department by staying organized, maintaining safety, and keeping the warehouse clean. They work with basic computer programs for ERP transactions and use RF scanners.

Job Description
  • Participate in warehouse setting for staging/loading material by packaging items, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks when needed.
  • Identify, label and stage materials properly through company ERP system for outgoing orders.
  • Maintain company warehouse material through organizing, cycle counting and cleaning designated shipping areas on a regular basis.
  • Keep a well‑maintained and updated account of finished stock in designated shipping area.
  • Follow all company rules and policies.
  • Load outgoing materials and products onto semi‑tractor trailers.
  • Coordinate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency within our Logistics department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in proven warehouse practices and methods.
  • 1+ years of forklift/pallet jack skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ERP/SAP system.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to apply basic math concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations.
  • 1+ years of experience with RF scanners.
  • 1+ year with Microsoft Office applications and warehouse computer software.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced company environment.
  • Soft skills:

    teamwork, detailed communication, time management, problem solving, and critical thinking.
