Assembler - 3rd Shift

This position reports to:
Supervisor (Production)

Supports the facility in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Uses machinery and equipment on the shop floor. Reads and interprets the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products.

• Safety
  • Understands and follows plant safety and procedures.
  • Avoids or prevents hazardous conditions from developing.
  • Wears appropriate protective equipment as required, dresses and conducts self in a safe manner.
  • Keeps work area clean and orderly and maintains Lean 5S.
  • Participates in plant safety objectives.
• Job Functions
  • Conduct all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing where integrated with production lines.
  • Performs work manually or using light hand tools.
  • Performs regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
  • Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area.
• Education And Experience
  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Prior manufacturing or quality control experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform push/pull functions.
  • Can work overtime to meet business objectives.
  • Can work a weekend schedule as needed.
• Skills And/or Training
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand various written instructions in English.
  • Bend, twist & turn in a safe manner.
  • Lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Stand for long periods.
  • Good hand dexterity.
  • Strong math skills.
