Social Media Coordinator

Verdes Cannabis | Albuquerque, NM | Full-time, in person
Pay: $22–$24 per hour, depending on experience

Verdes Cannabis is looking for a creative, organized Social Media Coordinator to bring our brand to life through short-form video, photography and engaging social content. You’ll execute our social media plan, contribute fresh ideas and work closely with marketing leadership to grow our online presence.

What You’ll Do

• Shoot, edit and publish short-form videos and original photography.
• Manage the social content calendar and keep messaging consistent with our brand.
• Photograph products and update e-commerce images and descriptions.
• Monitor comments, DMs and brand mentions, responding to questions and routing concerns.
• Track social performance, prepare monthly reports and recommend improvements.
• Stay current on trends and support paid campaigns, influencer outreach and cross-team projects.
• Follow brand guidelines, approval processes and applicable cannabis advertising requirements.

What You’ll Bring

• A portfolio demonstrating strong short-form video and photography skills.
• Strong writing, attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines independently.
• Knowledge of social media metrics and scheduling tools.
• Ability to take feedback, contribute ideas and adapt to changing priorities.
• One or more years managing brand social accounts preferred.
• A degree in marketing, communications or a related field, or equivalent experience, preferred.

Job Requirements

This role works in person and visits Verdes locations as needed to capture content. You must be comfortable using and transporting photography equipment, working at a computer and standing, bending or reaching during shoots.
