About Us

Ridgecrest Christian Church (ROC) is an instrumental, non-denominational, independent Christian Church which is part of the Restoration Movement. We are seeking a Bible-Centered Pastor. RCC was established in 1949 and has an average Sunday morning worship attendance of 15-25. We desire to regrow. We have a beautiful sanctuary with a capacity of 225, a fellowship hall capacity of 100+, offices, classrooms, and a large parking lot.

We have one service on Sunday morning, and a Wednesday night potluck meal followed by Bible study.

We are seeking applicants to replace our deceased minister. The minister would oversee the preaching and outreach of our church. While we desire a full-time minister, our financial situation urges us to accept a bi-vocational or retired part-time minister who will work to grow the church enough to support a full-time ministry, with extra emphasis on disciple-making. The minister will work with our leadership council and with the elder, deacon and trustees.

RCC is located in southeast Albuquerque, near Kirkland Air Force Base and the NM VA Hospital.

• Restoration Movement Bible College graduate preferred.
• Must agree with RCC’s statement of beliefs.
• Strong faith, characterized by spiritual maturity, discernment, integrity and a healthy work ethic.

• Work to execute the church’s mission, vision, and values.
• Proclaim the Gospel from the pulpit with authority, energy and wisdom.
• Lead the congregation with vision and encouragement to live a bold Christian life.
• Network with sister churches.
• Promote community involvement
• Work and seek support to restart/enlarge RCC’s outreach programs.
• Teach small groups & classes (new and prospective members, Bible Study).
  * Provide pastoral care (visitation, counseling, weddings, funerals, etc.)
  * * These items pertain more to full-time ministry in a thriving church.

Basic pay will be negotiated based on availability, experience and other employment. Part-time applicants should be prepared to prioritize church growth and health over other ministerial duties. Pay can be expected to increase as the church grows. Start date could be as early as July 1, 2025
