General Management
The Director of Advancement leads development, marketing/communications, volunteer engagement, and events, supervising three managers. They own the Drive Engagement priority, set fundraising strategy, strengthen donor/corporate relationships, oversee brand storytelling, grow volunteer capacity, advance McDonald’s partnerships, and expand statewide reach. Ideal candidates bring cross‑functional leadership experience and value volunteers and partners as capital.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:Collaborates across programs and operations to align messaging, volunteers, partnerships, donor records, and acknowledgments with organizational needs. Leads three managers, supports hiring and performance management, and models respect, compassion, and family‑centered care. Requires 5+ years’ nonprofit experience, 3+ years managing teams, cross‑functional leadership, fundraising success, strong communication, and CRM/data skills.
Other Information/Requirements:Primary work is office‑based, with regular attendance at donor, community, and partner events statewide. Must sit or stand for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 40 pounds may be required. As a 24/7 organization, flexibility beyond standard weekday hours is required, including evenings and weekends for events and donor engagement.
